Day 13

The best day yet.... I got up and went to town on arriving at the train station my dad called me and let me know that he had spoken to the letting agencies company director who had assured us that the flat would be made water tight and wind proof within the next 3 days so that was a bit of good news...




So I went back to the flat on my own as my partner was at work and sat in the lounge ... I had managed to tape up the window that the nest was in and there was no more wasps so I was all happy...I was sitting on the sofa and heard a loud cracking noise coming from above my head at that point my phone went and it was a roofer arranging to visit the flat ... as I spoke to him another leak started dripping on my head and I turned to look and another 2 where appearing in front of me... the roofer advised me to stab holes in the ceiling to get the water out and at this point I called the letting agency again....



I spoke to Andy this time an immature idiot from the letting agency who started laughing when I told him what was happening ... I snapped and lost my temper and said how dare he laugh as it’s their fault we are in this flat... they should never have let it out ... how would they like to live like this? he then put me onto "L" who advised me I was allowed to put holes in the ceiling and also that there would be an electrician coming to make sure the electric where safe... I then spoke to an electrician on the phone who advised me It was safe to use the kitchen, I then had to move all of our furniture out of the living room ... at the same time all this was happening the land line was ringing off the hook... And it was people asking if this was Johns Circus!!! One of them advised me that it’s in the phone book as a circus!! I couldn’t believe it I thought it was a sick joke... I’m sitting here tonight writing this blog as I want to tell the story as I can’t believe this is happening to us.....



The karaoke has just finished as I write this and I can't sleep as I’m so annoyed with what happened today....



I will update this tomorrow and see if the roofers actually come and actually do something also let’s see if the electrician fits the smoke detectors and check the electrics.... It’s probably not goanna happen we will see.
