Day 17

Woke up early as we were planning to go to Edinburgh and I was expecting a call from the Joiner. He called at about 9am and said he wouldn’t make it until after 11 so I took great pleasure in telling him that it was not convenient and that n one is allowed to enter the flat when I’m not there... He then asked me to call the office on Monday to get him to come out, to which i replied no way and told him he can phone me and I will not be waiting in all day again. So he agreed to call me at some point on Monday we shall see...

So after that we made a picnic to take to Edinburgh with us and went to the train station arriving at Edinburgh around 1pm and we then headed straight to the Edinburgh Dungeons.... It was so strange there was no Queue and they even took the tour through and it wasn’t even full... Let me tell you the dungeon is brilliant fun... The highlight being the boat as it was the scariest part of the whole thing...

After this we headed to the royal mile where there where hundreds of street performances for the Fringe festival and we were handed hundreds of flyers to go see shows, It was a good experience as I’d never been to the fringe festival before, after a walk down the royal mile and to the grass market we had lunch on a bench. Whilst having lunch a camp Argentinean man wearing a kilt got into the car that was parked behind where we were sitting and reversed back over a cone... He then sat in the car on his mobile saying in a very Bubbles from Little Britain accent.... "It’s never too early to drink champagne you know darling... chow ... chow chow darling" and the drove over the cone some more and sped off... Interesting person lol ..

We had lunch then headed to a bar in the Cow Gate for one of the Fringe shows and we got free tea and biscuits then the show consisted of three acts ... A man who talked about the fact he was mixed race... two singing pirates and a guy who talked about sex allot .... It was hilarious in parts..:)

On the train on the way home 2 Neddetts got on at a stop near the flat and one of them was crying... Mascara running.... "Ah canny believe he done that! Am pure mortified.... in front of the whole pub" second girl... "You should tell him tae get tae Fu*k hen... he’s nae good fur ye!!!”...... "Ah canny a luv him!!”..... he’s a pure cu*nt hen!" ...... bursting out crying again......"he heed butted me in front of the whole pub bit a luv him!" I can’t help thinking that it’s a fairy tale romance Glesga style lol....

When we got home I decided to make a baked potato for dinner but I had no clue how to do it, so i used my old friend you tube ... and found a great way of doing it....



Step 1.... Pearce the potatoes

Step 2.....Place on microwave dish and put in microwave for 10 minutes

Step 3.....After the first 10 minutes turn the potatoes over and put on for another 8 minutes

Step 4.....Place in a pre heated oven on the grate for another 10 minutes checking after 5 minutes

So now you have the perfect baked potatoe lol..... I have a feeling ill be cooking them all the time now ..lol
 
 

Just decided to have a relaxing bath but as the windows offer no sound proofing I could hear everything in the street....All I heard was 2 little girls giggling and screaming in the street very loudly followed by a man saying ......"gonna keep the noise down" ....followed by them laughing at him then ..."Whit?" ...."whit?" ... "whit" between the girl and the man.... then the man said "go home!" girl replies "Am gonna fucking kill you!!"

"Your just a wee lassy" ... "you’re going to fu**ing die!!!" then screaming more giggling and then the giggles faded into the distance... So that was such a relaxing bath.....lol
